Beginners/intermediate course and End-of-Season dance on 20 July 2019

  • June 13, 2019 15:53

Before we wrap up our dancing season, we are organizing a dance course for beginners and lower-intermediate dancers, which will be taught by Michi Bauböck and Ramona Zohm. Silke Grosholz will be our musician for the day. The course is particularly designed for those who have attended classes regularly and want to improve their knowledge of steps and formations. Advanced dancers are nonetheless invited to attend the course to receive personal critique from our teachers (if desired). The course will take place on 20 July 2019 beginning at 10am in the church hall Allerheiligen, Ungererstr. 187 (Alte Heide). The participation fee is 20 euros standard or 15 euros for MSA members/students. Please register at kurse@munichscottish.de.

Later that evening, we will celebrate the end of our dancing season with our End-of-seaon Dance to music by Sue Bollans and friends, beginning at 7 pm at the same venue (church hall Allerheiligen). Please bring a small contribution for the buffet. Drinks will be available at a low price. Entrance is 5 euros for members/students, otherwise 8 euros. No need to register in advance.

The dancing programme for the night can be found on the Strathspey Server or here– but we’ll also walk through the dances once.

You can find the flyers for both events here and here.

We had a full house and lots of fun at this years Christmas party. Thanks to all MSA members and friends for your help and to all the cheerful dancers for coming. A few photos:
